New E. Coli Strains Found In Beef

Food Safety Inspectors will now begin to test beef for a new 6 new deadly e.coli strains. The strains, also known as "the Big Six", has been known to cause severe infection. In most cases, resulting in death. The new strains are closely tied to hamburger beef. Be sure to watch what you eat!

Do you eat beef? There are a lot of Gourmet Cooking & Catering restaurants out there. Be sure to check scores and cleanliness of the restaurant prior to eating.

Did you ever notice....the e-coli outbreaks are rarely found in meat or poultry that is butchered for Halal or Kosher beliefs? These bacteria multiply rapidly when the blood is allowed to congeal and is still in the tissue of the meat. During a proper slaughter for religious purposes the blood is all drained out so we are rarely bothered by ecoli and other nasty little bugs in our food. So I'm suggesting that you try to find a Kosher or Halal meat market and just give the meat a try. The taste is very different. It is a fresh, flavorful taste. You may be surprised......

Thanks for the info.. I'd like to add that for meat to be slaughtered in a halal way there are other requirements also like the knife has to be sharp so one fast cut to the neck is all and the blood is drained fast. The part I like is that the animals to be slaughtered are not to be gathered together and witness the slaughter of the animals before them. This as we know causes a internal response releasing chemicals that are not good for us. If we are going to eat meat then we should make it as humane as possible.
