Gearing Up For Tax Season - Online Tax Preparation

Most individuals will start collecting items for assessment right at tax time. Not knowing, that staying organized throughout the year is equally important.

What are ways to help keep your documents organized before tax season hits?

Spreadsheets and a good old-fashioned filing cabinet work best for me to keep track of my receipts and my tax documents!

But, for those of you that are business-owners, accounting software is the way to go!

  Ihave a filing cabinet for my tax documents, I also use a flash drive to put my documents on & when i need to pull a person taxes, I just put the flash drive in & copy onto my computer, this way i can save space on my hard drive, so if my computer crash i wont lose my information

    I like that idea. I also use a cabinet and a flash drive to store my documents on but,I have been storying them on my hard drive too which has been taking up a lot of space.
