Hi I just started my studies in B S Criminal Justice about 3 weeks ago . Can you tell me do you like the school and the program? I like the lessons so far i hope i dont have no problems with getting books on time .
Im still working on my B.S. in CJ. I am 2 classes away from being halfway done. It is taking me forever! lol but I know just like with my A.S. degree that it will reward me no matter what field I decide to go into.
Do we get books for the B.A in CJ? I was told we only get one. Could we be friends? I cant seem to log in to the student portal they had my email wrong in the begining. It is very nice to meet you. Jenny

Sorry I didnt get back to you..between work and school..I am popped...It took me about 4 years to get to where I am...I did the Associates program in about 1 1/2 years because I had so many credits from my my JC and I did all the life/work experience courses..so everything is on track..
I could use some help. I am in my criminology class and I am writing the left realism paper. and I can't find any good references that I feel confident about. Could you give me some advice and maybe a website to look at. Thanks so much.

No, not yet. Is that class difficult? After Biology I have Ethics in CJ., THEN my semester exam after that 2 semesters and I will be completed with my courses for my B.S.
hi, i am on my first elective in the BS program, ashworth allows you to have a max of two open classes, i am having trouble with the writing assignments from Technology and society. the class was so boring for me, i just cant seem to focus on the writing assignments.
At some point we all have problems focusing our minds on reading, I guess that is one of the negatives in online schooling (if you consider that a negative). We don't have the classroom and the teacher in front of us. Life can easily take over or in my case a tv show. But is it important for you to receive a degree or not? I think if we focus on our future we can find a way to write that paper or read those two chapters that we keep putting off. I wrote that paper already and what we are doing now is a form of technology. Our entire world is technology based, from outer space to typing this to you. The paper is easier than you think. Think of Steve Jobs that just passed and you will have a paper to write. But also remember that technology goes further back than you might think. Whatever tool man had to use to begin is considered technology, read your Sociology book and you'll be surprised that using an ax was considered technology. I hope this has helped in some way and at lease put you on the right path. actually i am having issues about the world arguements of birth control assignment.I dont have any issues with not being on the right path, its not always that simple with ashworth and writing assignments... sometimes what they want in the assignment isnt as clear as day in the book. I guess, its that i dont have an opinion on some of this stuff, so its hard to write about for me.
anywhoo, i want to start a help or study group.... but i am not sure how to do it... anyone interested?
I'm studing that part in CJ as well, I have found that it is best to go online and find my answers through the internet to make it clear for me. Then just pray that I do it right when I submit it. This book has been the hardest for me to read so far.
I agree Msyobho, ive already gone through the AS program, and this is by far the hardest book for me to read and focus on, so far. ive tried to search online, but i am not coming up with anything helpful... good luck to us both i guess!!
Hey Trisha2327 I thought of some places that might be able to help you in this assignment. Food Stamp office might have information on birth control. The WIC office may have something as well. Ask pediatricians there idea on it.
right. so i was thinking i would choose from the arguements the books lists, and use my own examples or my own clarifications, of the info they provide. thats basicly what has to be done in other writing assignemtns too.
I've been enrolled in the CJ Bachelor's of Science program for about a month and love it. I've already finished a whole semester of classes (thanks to being able to work at my own pace)
after that 2 semesters and I will be completed with my courses for my B.S.
