THIS IS LISA PRATHER I DON'T HAVE TIME TO STUDY BETWEEN A FULL TIME JOB AND 3 KIDS. HOW CAN I FOUND TIME TO STUDY?
I would sit down with the family and schedule out some studying time. Work with friends/family to help out with the kids to give you a few hours study time.
i am a single mother of 3 young kids all uder the age of 7 yrs of age and i have my hands full but here is a tip i'm sure you will find helpful in the evening when all the other work is done when your kids are watching there fav. tv show or maby when they do there home work this is your time to do yours believe me you'll find they are even happy that there mom is sitting at the table doing school work show them what your doing they might even want to help make this is how i manage my hecktic day and my school work and if you have deturmination and willpower you can accomplish anything even a college course ontop of everything else good luck with your studies and we are all here to help.
1.Get up early morning and study at least 1 hour.
2.In the evening spend the time with your kids.
3.Let them to watch TV (Educational programs) for less than 1 hour and you review your study materials.
4.Before going to bed study at least 1/2 and hour.
Average per a day at least 2 hours study time would be OK.
Hi Lisa,
I am a mother with 3 kids and is studing cert in Business Management at Ashworth online. My eldest is in 1st grade, second in preschool and youngest is a 11 month old baby. I get where you are coming from about not having enough time to STUDY with kids and all. First, remember that you are not alone!!There are thousands and many more around the word just like you (and me).
Here is a typical day for me:
Morn:2am-Wake up to nurse my baby then study. I am a morning person so waking up early is best for me.
8-2pm: WORK
2-3: LUNCH at work. When i have time i go through review questions OR just catch up on your readings
6pm: HOME. Make dinner, do kids hw, dinner etc
9pm: put kids to sleep. To me it is very important for my kids to know that 9pm means BEDTIME.
9-10pm: Go through lessons.(half an hour or so dedicated for readings)
BEDTIME
I usually take my lesson exams in the morning as that is the time everyone is asleep and all is quiet.
I wish you the best ![]()

Lisa,
I would study at the kids activities, take them to the park on the weekends and sit on a bench and study there. When its too loud in the house I would go and sit in my car and study there during the day and just let them play in the yard or in the house with a friend. You could also pay a babysistter one day a week and go to the library and study there. Most libraries have free wi-fi or free computers. I really like to wait til my son is sleeping at 9pm and I study til 11pm. You could study at work on your break. You may want to ask your supervisor if you can study in the break room. If he or she says no go down the street to a parking lot and eat your lunch and study in your car. Good luck!
Hey Lisa, I print my lecture notes so I always have something to read. I have a long commute so if my husband is driving, I can study. I have two jobs two kids and a disabled Army vet husband. If he is in the hospital, I take my computer and my books. I don't waste anytime on T.V. I put my kids on a schedule so they always respect my study time. I also study with them. They get a kick out of seeing mom do homework!
well i have 4 kids and one on the way and a full time job and building a house all at the same time i study on my lunch break and at home during super time and after the kids go to bed i get about 4 hours a sleep a night but in the long run it is worth it i belive you can too.
You Will find the time, and you know you will, or you wouldn't be going to class on line. Your question sounds like you are more looking for a way not than a way to. I have 5 kids, 19 horses that need fed and watered, 40 rodeo bulls that I help my husband with , and a full time job too. When you are inspired enough to take the first steps to go to school, you can find the time. Good luck. And prove to the world you are a strong person.
