I've started to write all of my notes by hand, because I find that writing out the information helps me to remember more and retain the information longer.
I use the computer to type out things that I need to turn in, and will soon be using the computer to also convert my occasional scanned assignments into .PDFs so that I can submit things that NEED to be written out via my student Drop Box.
I do all my note taking by hand because im so used to writing out notes instead of typing them just like I can only do math with a pencil... I retain more information writing it out and sometimes I get sick of typinglol
I used to outline it on my computer but after awhile, I found out that I wasn't learning the material so now I write out my outlines by hand in a notebook.
I actually use a note program on Microsoft office 2010 called One note. It gives me a chance to gain my expertise on the office suite again . Yes I am actually certified in both Microsoft office 2007 and 2010.
I use to write my notes out by hand then type them on a Word Document. But I decided that took too long and I wanted to more quickly get through the course so I have my Word Document and my lessons up and type my notes on word.
I only take notes in classes which I don't feel strongly about the subject.
i write mine out by hand because i think it does help me remember them better. and i just had to get my computer cleaned and i lost the ones i started with so now its all by hand for me ... lol
Yes, it all makes scene that writing everything out by hand would make more of an impact! All your notes at your fingertips and going over them a time or two making an impression even more so. I also plan on high lighting all the important things in the books, they are yours to keep, right? I also plan to keep everything neat and organized, weather it remains that way..... we'll see! LOL
I take notes by hand and i write the notes base on things that are bold, italise or underline, if its mention in the learning objectives, if i feel its important and also if its something I was not familiarize with or took awile to grasps.
