To all the Ashworth students pursuing an Associates degree, whether it is in Business management, Business Administration or any other major. Ashworth is very easy irrespective of what anybody attending thinks. Futher, every thing both the exam and lessons are all multiple chioce questions.

Consider the hypothetical example if you were told to answer and submit all the "review questions" in your learning guide, not the multiple choice questions without any open book text book. So what would you guys do? My advise to any one taking courses at Ashworth make sure you are reading to pass and to know it, and not just reading to pass only.

Significantly, however, scanning through the textbooks and looking for answers would not help you tomorrow. Remember, some people go to college and still come out knowing close to nothing. Lets say for instance you graduate with an Associate degree in accounting or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and u happened to get a job in a Firm as an Accountant and your not able to perform. What do you think your employer would think of you?

For success attitude is as important as ability. Your choice, your actions, equals your life. No matter who you are or where your from, your future is up to you. Success is impossible if you fail to try.

      Thank you!

Thats why I take notes as I read and do the questions in the text book. I want to absorb everything... I dont care about the paper that says I know this stuff (even though it is important) I am spending the $ to learn and retain it all...

I am majoring in Business Management.  However I finished the Introduction to Business class.  I got an A in the class, however lesson 8 was the most challenging lesson of that class.

    Associate Degree in Accounting

I took some accounting courses in my Business Management class. The classes didnt agree with me, mostly because of the wording in the questions, but numbers are not my strong point.

I have enrolled in the Associate of Accounting course. My present challenge is slowly dissipating as I tread through Business Communication. At first glance, the book seemed confusing and boring. I still find that it is boring, though I have managed to secure some 80% and 90%. I am presently doing the 4th lesson and slowing biting in. I prefer my numbers everyday, because I love mathematics; however, i intend to complete the modules and receive my certificate.

Hi i am Patricia I have a question I am taking a college accounting course, my field of study is HealthCare Management, I have one course left in Human Resources after accounting  i'm in the last chapter, and i'm expected to submit Closing Entries and the Postclosing Trial Balance a second time, my concern is I cannot get the numbers to balance, also getting different balances. Numbers are not my strong  point, but I respect them. I've done great up to now in accounting any suggestions this subject's wording is a bit confusing!

if you can give me some pointers if not God's speed in All you do.

                                                                                                                    Thanks in advance

PS. Thank God I got it, (reread) and found the solution thanks again!!

    Associate Degree in Accounting

Hello, I am currently working on my Associate Degree in Accounting and just started my second semester. So far I really love the flexibility of this school and the courses are not too difficult if you do read-to-learn and not just to pass the exams. My difficult courses so far have been Psychology and Business Communications. I am hoping to bring up my grades now that I have the general idea of how this online College Degree Programs work. I have a GPA of 3.6 currently but would like to bring that up to a 4.0 this semester! I hope this helps you on your journey to a higher education.

    Associate Degree in Accounting

I graduated last year from this Associates in Accounting program.  Microecon and Finance were landmark prayer points in my degree quest - either the questions or the book needed other independent books to fill the blanks.

I was engaged when I started the program and was married with two kids when I ended.  Ashworth was actually harder than Howard U. since it depended on independent study.

    Good luck in your Quest!

I'm happy to hear that you graduated last year with your degree in Accounting.  I'm on my last 2 books and they are very hard, I need some help if you have sometime with Microeconomics, and Principles of Accounting 2 chapter 4, the working assignment.  (Preparing a Statement of Cash Flows).

      Thank you.

I'm also in my first semesters. I have to stop for a while because it's tax season. It's a little hard to do both and not mess up on someone tax return. I am already done with my second class just need to enter it in. Wish me luck!

I am workig on my second semester. Currently taking Accounting 1. I am having trouble finding the answers for the excersises to check. The accounting in the 1st semester was really easy. I do accounts payable all day and billing. Always loved doing this stuff in high school. Figured I might as well and get an associates.

I heartily commend the guest who is doing the three courses; either he or she doesnt sleep or doesn't work, or either he or she doesn't have a family, or has abandoned same. I am a full-time military worker, and I'm struggling to keep up with the accounting course at the associate level.

Well I'm in the Intro to Business, just started last weekend.  Some of you guys are scaring me a little bit by saying how hard some of it is but I'm in it to win it.  *lol*  It's been many years since school but Ashworth is making it available for us.  If anyone wants a study buddy I am here.  I work nights so it will have to be by e-mail or messenger.  Let me know.

I am so very mad!  I have been doing extremely well in the Intro to Business book.  I just took the last test and I made a D because only a few of the questions had anything to do with that book.  Is this what I have to look forward to with the rest of the schooling?

@bigspender29  I know what you mean.  I'm majoring in Business Management and completed the Intro. to Business Course.  I got an A in the class, but Lesson 8 was challenging.  I got a 65% in that lesson.

Be encouraged.  I'm certain some lessons will be more challenging than others, but stay positive...and don't give up!

We are all here to encourage and help each other achieve success.
