I used to work at home for a company called Alpine Access, they hire out of the United States and Canada. It's not a scam or anything, they are legit, and very awesome to work for.
Pretty much all you need is a quiet area in your home free from distractions and noise, a high speed internet connection and a 32-bit operating system. You'll also need a separate phone line put in, and purchase a USB headset for training, and another for your telephone. But that you can use claim on your income tax to get that money back.
It's basically a cell center, only from home. I personally didn't enjoy that line of work which is why I left. But the benefits are good, the people are fun, and even the hours were decent. My shift didn't even start until noon! Plus, they pay you for two months training.
