God created people but he didn't create gays its there choice wheather they want to be gay or not.
Yes, maybe he gave them a choice. But he MADE the physical person at the very least didn't he?
If he didn't want people to possibly choose to be gay, he wouldn't have given us free will.
If he didn't want people to choose pepsi or coke. He wouldn't have let those drinks be made.
But do you really think Gods happy about the whole gay thing no. If God was okay with it than why didn't he put it in the bible saying its okay to be gay or a homosexual but he didn't its says other wise in the bible being gay is wrong and it will always be wrong.
I don't pretend to know what is going on in God's head at all times. If I did, I would be God instead of a mere human being.
I think that most of the Bible, considering it is a couple thousand years old, and has been translated many, many times...was edited by man. Most of God's message was probably lost.
Now, the ten commandments I"ll believe. But there are thousands of little things in the Bible that are just not applicable today. For example, if you see your neighbor working on Sunday...your neighbor says your supposed to stone them. If your a woman and you get short hair, that's a sin. If you have any sort of physical intimacy outside of marriage, your going downstairs. It says eating shellfish or wearing clothes made of two or more fabrics is bad. Please check the tag on your clothes. I can almost guantee you that it is made out of more then one fabric.
Maybe God doesn't like gays, maybe he does. I'm not going to say I know ALL the answers for 1000% certanity. What I do know is the Bible also says LOVE THY NEIGHBOR. It did NOT say love your neighbor only if you AGREE with them.
You can believe whatever you want. If you believe that God is happy when people discriminate against eachother cause the Bible says it's wrong somewhere..obviously your opinion is just as valid as mine as neither of us can call God up for his opinion and prove he's the one giving an answer. So God Bless you.
By the way I don't cut my hair I don't have any piercings, tattoos, and i've never even kissed a guy, i don't even eat seafood, and the whole cloths thing is just a little weird but i waither have cloths on then not to.
You've never even gotten your hair trimmed?
Yes, I'd rather have people wear clothes then walk around naked. We have found common ground.
Those are just some examples off the top of my head.
Now, when some of Jesus's followers ask Jesus how to get into Heaven he says. When I was hungry you did not feed me. When I was cold, you did not clothe me. When I was sick, you did not heal me.
The followers were scared cause they had never seen Jesus in need of any of those things.
So Jesus explained that he was talking about the poor. The meek shall inherit the Earth.
I think that God cares more about people feeding the hungry, helping the homeless, etc then he cares about who is doing what in the bedroom.
You should be congradulated that you have not engaged in physical activities that could get you into trouble by the way. Not many people can clam that.
Well before I got the Holy Ghost I did but i have not put a pair of scissors in my hair in a really long time its been years.
Lol alright. Well the hair thing is just a minor random example anyway.
I see you are in high school, so I really hope you further your education afterwards.
I have put up a post about the United State's Gallop poll.
It gives you some statistics about Christianity in the United States.
I really do encourage everyone to at least keep an open mind about other religions and view points.
I believe He is coming soon, and although I know I make so many mistakes daily, and I may not be COMPLETELY prepared right now, I'm working on it as much as I can..to be ready. And that is why we are here..to prepare ourselves AS MUCH AS WE CAN for His coming. We cannot waste our time.
Who cares about the versions as long as it is a Holy Bible there all going to say the same things just in way you can understand IT IS WRONG sin is wrong no matter who you are or where your from. I think someone should take the time to read the bible.
Actually, Jmedina2893, with all due respect...you are making an FALSE assumption.
I HAVE read the Bible. I HAVE gone to Sunday School. I've attended normal Church Services.
We just got different messages.
You are one person out of about 2.5 billion Christians in the world. You are not, as far as I know, (correct me if I am wrong), a preacher, or any sort of official religious teacher. Your version of Christianity is as valid as any other random poster. (Including me and all the other posters on this page.).
I'm sorry but I believe you did not comment on a BIBLICAL VERSE...that I listed.
What was that about LOVE THY NEIGHBOR in the Bible?
Turning the other cheek?
The meek shall inherit the Earth?
Please do comment on any of these passages.
Oh wait...I do have a serious question. We know that cheating on your husband/wife is a sin in the Bible. We agree on that right?
You believe homosexuality is a sin.
So lets say we have two random people. We will call the gay person Sally. We will call the straight person Bob.
Sally is attracted to women. She has never had any sort of intimate PHYSICAL contact with another woman. We'll say that she is a model citizen. No criminal records, hard worker, and an all around nice person. But she is GAY. However, she has not ACTED upon these feelings.
Lets say that Bob is straight. Bob goes to church and he's a pretty nice guy. He's also to the outside world a model citizen and he has a good job to. But let's say that Bob is having an affair. He is cheating on his wife.
Which person do you think God is more upset with? The gay who hasn't acted on her feelings or the straight person who is cheating on their wife?
Hypoethically, these people are not real. I randomly selected the names.
look worry bout jesus instead of some homosexuals let jesus handled them make sure yo life is right with jesus.
That's what I have been saying.
well good we on the same page. cus thats all that matter at tha end of the day. not gay people.
