I have find out that the thrift store owners in my town seems to be getting more customers and/are doing very well in making money selling uses goods or hand me downs items. Do you think that thrift stores are the most money making businesses in today's market and would you consider opening a thrift store of your own?
I recently seen about 4 open within the past year in my general area, and usually by year's end they are closed. It may be a good way to supplement income and hire two part timers to run it for you but as far as making it a full time career, I doubt that would be a beneficial move.
I rather not make it a career, but most people seem to in order to pay bills. I think that I rather sell my junk by having a garage sale on part-time basis lol.
It would be hard to make it into a career as they don't make much money. We've had a lot of them where I live, but they all look run down, and all the stuff is pretty much junk.
