A member of the Spanish Royal Guard, second right, snoozes as he waits for the start of the Pascua Military annual Christmas military parade at the Royal Palace in Madrid on Jan. 6.
Yes that happens 2 me all the time.
yes and i could have been killed. the person in charge wasn't being safe and made all of us be on the flight line. i fell asleep standing up since i only had 7 hours of sleep in 2 nights. not continuous.
im pretty active at work, but i feel for the guy in the photo, when i was in the army we had the change in battalion commandor and had to stand perfectly still at attention for 3 hrs.it was miserable,i had a hard time staying awake and others were falling out as well
I remember back when I was in College, I was working the night-auditor shift at a hotel every weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) while going to school full-time during the week. Crazy schedule... lets just say I caught many a zzzz's at work :-)
Yes! However, not standing up, lol
LOL, it sure has. I used to work at night and come 1 or 2 a.m. everyone was in the mood to turn in!
I can see this happening, although I would do my best to avoid it if I was working.
UNFORTUNATELY IT HAPPENDS...:)
it has happen to me at times
i could never fall asleep standing.
Hi Danielle,
Yes I have just a year ago I had work a double shift, but was unable to get any rest before going to work and it was ery hard to keep my eyes off. Once I sit down for a break I was in La La land.
yes I have, but I think everyone has at least once in there life...![]()
Yep - has happened more than once. Often when I'm looking for someone that skipped out on their Newport News bail bonds, I have to sit and wait long periods at the time - makes me soooo sleepy. I'm sure there are many people that this has happened to, probably most dont even realize it! LOL
YES! And usually the employer frowns on it.
Yes actually I can say I have fallen asleep a couple of times at my job I use to work grave yards and so I was always so tired working that shift becuase I also have a 15 month old little girl and so it was hard to get sleep when I needed sleep etc. So I am not proud of it luckily my boss hasn't said anything to me abou tit. But after he changed my schedule I haven't had any problems falling asleep on the job!
I work the graveyard shift, and it is so hard not to- I know I have cat napped a few times. Coffee Coffee Coffee! That's my best friend!
I feel that i take little bit of sleep on job.
Used to happen to me alot
was working over 80 hour weeks sometimes up to 112 hours. 16 hour days
Heh, when I was in the Army, in basic training, I learned to catch a few zzzzzz's in formation. Otherwise definitely do my best not to, although I've nodded off by mistake working midnights a few times.
happened to me alot, guess its when you are over worked and tired or bored.
i have never slept on the job before ..and at times i had two jobs at a time ..![]()
Yes, sleeping on the job frequently happen's. Especially right after lunch... I found certain foods I had eaten were the problem. Also, I recommend eating a lighter meal,, such as a salad or fruits nothing heavy. Did you know when the body is digesting your food, this process takes alot of energy leaving you feeling extremely tired...
If some one finds you sleeping on the job, open your eyes slowly raise your hand and say thank you jesus.. act like you were praying lol
I WISH THAT I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT , JAN 27, 2011. LOST MY JOB. NOW THAT WASN'T NO FUN AT ALL. WORKED FOR 17 YEARS FOR THAT COMPANY. BUT WHAT CAN I SAY? NOTHING. BUT I'M STILL HERE. PRAISE HIM..........LET THE CHURCH SAY AMEN.......:):)
I think it depends on which job you have. I was a waitress, and that was impossible to sleep on.
Really yes that has happen to me also, but i try my best to do what i can do to keep myslef on track.
