Agh! I have so many...
But one of the main ones that have stuck with me is:
"Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game." —A Cinderella Story
To cavicavera: post more please!!!! Good Movie Qoute Too.
That was so cool: cavicavera.........I liked that quote. Keep them coming.....
I love that movie!!!
To cavicavera: The Duchess: seem like a good movie.....I need to check it out.
The Young Victoria and The Duchess are both one of my top favorite movies.
They're both based on admirable women in British History.
The Young Victoria, is the story of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert; Victoria and how she came to reign, and some of the difficulties she had along the way.
The Duchess, who is an ancestor to Princess Diana =] was one of the most influential women in her time.
In fact, I believe Geogiana, the Duchess of Devonshire and Princess Diana have quite a few things in common.
But anyway, yeah, I'd say you should definitely check out both movies =]
To cavicavera: I will no doubt check these movies out: I love movies that insprire others to make a difference or a stand in their own life.
Lol;
Well then in that case, you should love these.
And agh, the dog that Queen Victoria has in The Young Victoria...
is a [tri-colored] Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, the same breed of dog that I have, although mine is Blenheim =]
Her dog's name was Dash, and he was given to her as a present by the unfavorable Sir John Conroy;
and, if I remember correctly, when I looked it up, it was said that he pretty much just gave her the dog to try and win some brownie points with her...to no avail of course, because he was a horrible, manipulative man.
I should use his style to win over someone: buy them a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: but just not be manipulative: lol
More movies guys!!!!
Lol! I may be bias, because the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is my favorite dog breed for many reasons...
But Cavaliers are thee cutest dogs ever. <3
I will keep that breed in mind "Cavalier"
Lol and and...
Just in case your soul mate ends up having a disorder like depression or something...
One of the breeders that I'm friends with (She's from Oregon) said one of the reasons that she decided on the breed of the Cavalier for her family is because they're said to be theraputic dogs xP
I may need this dog for myself, not my soul mate: lol.
Lol what makes you say that? =P
I would use the dog for therapy: and for stress relief.
Agh, yes, I know what you mean.
And perhaps, again, I may just be bias, but there's just something about the Cavalier that just screams "LOVE".
But my Aunt who has a Boxer says that her oldest Boxer is a sweet heart as well;
And while some people will say that all animals are loving, I will stand my ground when I say that there is definitely something particularly special about the Cavalier.
"You may dream of independence, but you won't get it. From now on, everyone will push and pull you for their own advantage, Melbourne more than the rest. Just remember, you are the queen. He's a politician. And politicians, whatever their creed, always resent the monarchy. They pass through, you stay. So just keep dear Lord M in his proper sphere."
—Queen Adelaide, The Young Victoria
Great movie.
=D!
You've seen it?
A couple times. Felt bad for the girl.
Oh my goodness!
You're seriously the only person I've come across who's seen it.
What made you decide to watch it?
I was channel flicking and clicked the info button. I'm a history buff so decided to watch it.
Oh okay that's cool =]
Have you seen Marie Antoinette as well? [Starring Kirsten Dunst]
I saw that to.
What about The Duchess?
I don't think i've seen that.
Oh okay, well you should check it out if you ever have the time.
What did you think of Marie Antoinette and The Young Victoria?
I quite liked them.
Same, however, I thought they could've found a way to make Marie Antoinette a bit more interesting plot-wise. I hardly remember any use of lines throughout the movie x_x;
I just remember her starting out as a kinda bratty materilistic shallow girl in teh beginnign for Marie.
I think she was like that the whole movie.
Up until she realized that would go down and she'd be sentenced to the guillotine.
I might be a little crazy but when I read favourite movie quote, the only thing that came to mind was one from Zombieland. LOL
Zombieland is a classic movie: lol
Yes, when you think about it Zombies are classic movie plots.
Zombieland is actually one of the only zombie movies I can tolerate xP
True that! Zombies aren't my monster of choice.
Agreed.
And not to mention, to me all zombie movies, with the exception of Zombieland, seem to all end the same way, if not also begin the same way. x.x;
More a vampire, witch, werewolf person myself. Sometimes ghosts...
I'm strickly vampire, but I have the open-mind to enjoy and tolerate anything else that's added in the story (witches, demons, shapeshifters, you name it.)
I was about 4 when I saw my first vampire movie, and they've been my favorite creature of darkness ever since.
The movie was John Carpenter's Vampire <3
And for some reason, it just had a very strong affect on me ever since then.
That is, I can actually remember exactly what I was doing while watching the movie, and I can remember the one scene that's stuck with me even when I never knew the title until nearly two years ago after obsessively researching for it.
Lol they are probably the most common monster as far as movies go. So its not hard to find movies about them. XD.
Lol definitely.
But it was hard to find that specific one when all I could remember was the scene...
and then eventually I found the common sense to guess what year it might've been released in according to how old I was when I saw it, and BOOM, there it was xP
I remember watching Ketchup Vampires when I was a kid. They were vampires that lived off tomato juice. It was a cartoon movie. Twilight more or less sorta ran with that concept.
Lol!
I enjoyed the first two books...but the last two were ehhh...
And the movies...I mean, it just could've been better than what it turned out to be.
I thought the Breaking Dawn was the best one but yeah they could have done better with the movies. I think its just the girl that plays Bella and guy that plays Edward. I liked him better as Cedric from Harry Potter to be honest.
I agree with you.
And I honestly think the only one they got right was Taylor Lautner, and please note that none of my opinions of the actors have anything to do with their physical appearances.
Taylor Lauter is the face I put to Jacob when I first read Twilight in 2006.
And I think Danielle Panabaker would've made the perfect Bella.
And David Keith the perfect Charlie.
I don't know who those people are so i'll just go with it XD. I'm kinda sad. Harry Potter is over and Twilight has one movie left. I'm gonna need a new franchise and STAT.
Lol, well since your a vampire person.
I'd recommend The Vampire Diaries. (This is the series that I sunk my teeth into after needing another Vampire story when I was through with Twilight.)
Read the first two books or just go straight to the TV series.
The TV series differs majorly from the books, but both are equally good.
In fact, I'm able to read the continuations of the book series while the TV series is on it's Mid-Season or Season Finale.
There are lots of differences, but if you give both the book and TV Series a chance, you'll most likely love them for their differences instead of hating one or the other because they're different.
I love the TV show but don't have any of the books.
David looks too old to be Edward but I'll agree with the Bella casting. I'm caught up with the show. I should probably try to get ahold of the books.
David Keith was who I said should've been Charlie =P
And I wanted Danielle Panabaker because I could picture her in Bella's bigger scenes perfectly.
My Mom, who got into the TV show, tried to read the books, but stopped when she found out Elena was blonde.
Lol kinda silly thing to stop reading a series over but whatever works for her. And ohhh that makes more sense for him to be Charlie.
Lol she said she couldn't read on because everytime they'd be talking about Elena, she'd be picturing Caroline.
Lol I want Bonnie to get with Damian. They have that love hate chemistry. I can picture them married and he leaves the toliet seat up. Psychic witch attack.
Damian~AHHH WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!
Bonnie~You left the seat up!
Damian~WITCH!
Bonnie~That's right!
Lmao nuuuu.
I don't like the whole Bonnie & Damon duo.
But btw, did you know that Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon) are engaged in real life? =D
I didn't know that O.O
Yeah, they went public I think around mid-2011? Idk, I can't remember, but yeeeeeps.
I think they make the cutest couple ever =]
lol well thats interesting
I am just waiting for Zombieland pt. 2 LOL
I think I might be more of a werewolf and vampire lover. But I don't not like the Twlight books/ movies though.
My favourite vampire books are the Cirque Du Freak series even though it is books for young adults.
I've never read Cirque du Freak, but they did make a movie called Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant which I'm only assuming is based off the book series now that I know that one exists.
As for the movie, I thought it was interesting; it's just too bad they didn't make a sequel...I think that it's probably because the movie didn't do too well.
There are 12 books in the Cirque du Freak (Saga of Darren Shan) series. And I absolutely loved every one.
The movie is actually nothing in comparision to the books. You know, they always mess up movies that are based on books ![]()
The author of the Cirque du Freak, Darren Shan, published 3 new books for a new series called Saga of Larten Crepsley. I have to get my hands on them soon! LOL
I read that are planning a sequel for Zombieland.
Lol definitely, it's a rule of the thumb to: "Never judge a book by it's movie."
And ah, if they make a second Zombieland, I hope they use the same actors x.x;
Why are trying so hardto fit in when you were born to stand out?
