Air Conditioned Clothing

Posted by Ashworth College on Sep 13, 2011 2:23:13 PM

People in Japan needed to come up with a way of lowering their electricity bills and quickly.  Due to the natural disasters that impacted the country, systems like air conditioning went out nationwide.  One man, Hiroshi Ichigaya, found a solution to keeping the Japanese people cool in the summer and not raise their bills.  He invented air conditioned clothing which has portable fans blowing inward on the body.  The pants, jackets, and short-sleeved shirts come in gender neutral colors and have been commissioned by countries and people all over the world. It isn't just everyday clothes.  Ichigaya has created air conditioned mattresses, cushion, and bee keeping suit.

When the suit needs repairing, do you call a tailor or an HVAC specialist?  What do you think of this concept?
