The summer heat wave has stopped being a good excuse to go to the pool and has turned dangerous.  Several people, especially football players and the elderly, have died due to the heat.  Temperatures are reaching in the hundreds have caused animals to leave their natural habitats and come into our backyards in search of water.  One woman said she caught a family of bears taking a dip in a kiddie pool she puts out for her dog.

Summer sports, such as football, are being postponed or canceled after several players have developed heatstroke and died.  Marching band practices have been cancelled or pushed to early morning, before the heat of the day, in order to ensure their students safety.

What do you think people should do to take precautious with the heat?
