When it came time to change careers, Ashworth College provided me the most feasible options.  After first completing my Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies, I was able to land myself a Victim/Wellness Coordinator job at the Florida State Attorneys Office 15th Judicial Circuit.  A year later I enrolled this time in its Bachelor in Criminal Justice program, and was promoted from the misdemeanor division to the felony. A Bachelor in Criminal Justice meant I was now better able to make the correlation between the justice system and the wider society. Ashworth College re-tooled me for this upgrade. I am now better able to relate to other professionals in my field, and render a higher quality service to the general public, including being an invaluable resource to my friends and family.

The convenience of studying with Ashworth meant little or no interruption in my daily routine. There was no need to travel to class, and I had my textbooks shipped to me on time. I had very clearly outlined lesson formats online with instructors that guided and expedited my learning experience, and with a student service that was available six days a week. Enrollment at Ashworth College meant that my tuition was not an over-inflated price tag like that of many institutions. It was very comforting to know that there were still nationally accredited colleges (DETC; US Department of Education) that offered good affordable education that did not feel like paying a mortgage.

Perhaps the most notable thing about my Ashworth experience was how it tremendously improved my growth. Without question, it was the decision to choose Ashworth to re-tool me for my career change that made this achievement possible. Today I am a more confident and self assured individual because of it. My growth and advancement in the Florida State Attorney’s Office clearly stands to reason that Ashworth College is capable of making an impact in the lives of its students as good as, or perhaps better than, many other comparable institutions. Earning my Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, and then my Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, has vastly improved how marketable I am professionally, and has greatly defined my success.
