I did not do well as a high school student and did not seek college. One day my daughter asked me why my husband and I had not gone to college, I did not have an answer, because I was ashamed. I knew I had to go in order to be an example to her and my son. I had a lot of hang-ups about going to school. Non-traditional students have a number of obstacles to overcome. To make a long story short, Ashworth gave me the confidence to pursue an Early Childhood Education Associate Degree. Their online education program was not only informative, challenging, and real life…it was encouraging.
I have been able to apply what I have learned at Ashworth to my current line of work, as well as applying the study techniques I obtained from Ashworth College toward my current BA in Psychology studies. None of this would have been possible for me without the guidance and encouragement of the Ashworth College staff. The "go-at-your -own pace” is wonderful tool. There was no stress and I could take my time to actually learn. It was a great experience and the confidence you all gave me is something Visa cannot buy….it is priceless.
