Ashworth College Reviews

Hello Everybody,

I started studying with Ashworth College in 1999 and am still studying with, for improving my career and for personal enrichment. Thanks to Ashworth College I earned:

- my Professional Fitness and Nutrition Program Diploma in 1999

- my Associate of Science in Business Management Degree in 2008

Needless to say how helpful the Associate Degree, I obtained, has been for improving my career. I started working as an employee, today I'm the South Europe Logistics and Customer Service Manager at an International Publishing Company.

I am not done yet! I want to keep studying with this reliable College. In fact, I enrolled into General Studies Bachelor Degree Program, and have only two semesters left to complete the program. It' a great experience, I can tell. I also would like to highlight how responsive and helpful the Ashworth College representatives are. I always get a quick response and feedback whenever I have a doubt or request.

I highly recommend this College!

Flexibility and convienence ....

Posted by taurano May 10, 2013

I'm really enjoying the convienece that Ashworth College allows. As a adult learner with a full time job where I sometimes work close to 60 hours a week as well as having a family, the type of flexibility allowed by Ashworth is critical for me.

Ashworth is a good online college, especially if you live in the boonies!!

As age has hit me from behind, the standards for an education level has risen over the years. And my general education level is lower than the standards. I don't understand why, are we trying to keep up with China? The knowledge acquired in school and through the years as worked perfectly for me. But the lack of a degree has installed a halt on my climb up the corporate ladder. So finding Ashworth will help in getting over that blockage and at a reasonable price.

Just a few suggestions......

1. Install a program to allow the students to access their next course on their list. (instead of asking on a discussion forum)

2. Online students that study during the weekend needs help too. Have a staff, tutors or volunteers readily to assist on weekends.

3. The use of written paper examples are a necessary tool for students. Post a "few" examples of different types of outlines and essays online as references.(Only found one)

4. Give each students the Instructors e-mail along with the course or atleast a Discussion room for each course, so the students can address any issues or questions directly to the Professor.

But all in all, Ashworth is a Great College for everyone.

Thanx!

Absolutely love it!

I absolutely LOVE this school.  Last year, I decided to leave my regular high school, and to do online school and vamp up my hours at work and help out my family more.  I just wanted to say that the flexability that Ashworth and the JMHS program provide, it is phenominal.  There are no due dates, so I can do my work around MY schedule, not someone else's.  That is very important to me, as I do not always know when my work will allow me to have time to do school work.

Hello! My name is Roy and I am a 30 year old adult learner. I just returned to college this week for the Retail Administration Associates Degree. One day I would like to own my own business and I feel that this would help me to build a solid foundation before I proceed to the Business Administration Bachelors Degree and MBA after that. It has been less than one week and I find that the convenience of Ashworth makes it such a smooth transition back into living the college life. I work full time as an ESL teacher in Mainland China, so Ashworth makes it very easy for me to complete my degree at an affordable price. The best part (I love this part), is that it is at MY OWN PACE! If I choose to take it slow, I take it slow. If I choose to do four lessons in one day, I do four lessons in one day. Short funny story, I was so happy the day that I enrolled that I actually finished my first class in three days and now I am on my second class. I have only had the second class for one day so far and me being the highly motivated individual that I am, have already completed FIVE LESSONS out of the eight needed for the second class and I still have a B average! This just proves that I made the right choice by choosing Ashworth College and you can too!

Wow!

Wow...I am really enjoying this class.  My brain is on overload, but I love it!

The ideas are just filling up my head, and the best about it is that I am learning things I can use not just for writing a children's book (which I am anxious to do) but also helping me with tips and hints for writing the book with my husband's assistance and the textbook with my mom.  It makes for a very busy time but it's all good.

I have discovered that ideas are really starting to emerge for story ideas for children's book; from places that I would not have thought, really.  I have become used to writing everything down now so that I don't lose track of anything; since the older I get, the more that happens.  *sigh*

Just finished my exam for Lesson 7 - now onto Lesson 8.  It's such a beautiful day that I set up a small table outside and I've been out there studying.  I think it's time for my brain to take a break, though, and I will put together a puzzle instead.
