Let me tell all of you out there that this school is the best thing that could have ever hppened to me. I wish I would have known about Ashworth when I first decided to go back to college in 2007....I could have graduated debt free but unfortunately I have a student loan from the previous on campus college but we learn from our mistakes. I graduated in 2010 with honors with an associates degree in Office Systems Technology with my Technical Certificate as an Office Software Specialist...but I still wasant satisfied...I wanted to work in healthcare. I wanted to go to school to be in health care but I refused to add on to the student loan debt I had already created. That is where Ashworth came in. Low monthly payments and plus I could attend school an work full time versus when I was at my prevoius school I only worked 24 hours a week....OUCH!!!!!! I enrolled in the Medical Billing program on 6/28/11. I completed my last lesson on 4/24/2012 and was updated to "graduated" with a 4.0. Right before I finished my coursework back in March....I decided to just randomly mail out resumes to all clinics, hospitals, etc to land a job as a medical biller....well one resume stuck. I got a call on 4/23/12 for a job interview for a biller for Doctors Home Care our local hospice and homecare facility. I went to the interview and the interview went well. On 4/30/12 I was offered the position...I started on 5/14/12 and I am loving it. When I reviewed this school before I enrolled...I saw a lot of negative reviews about this school, credits didnt transfer, this school is a scam, this school is not accredited, etc...well (A). these people didn't have nothing else better to do and (B). dont knock it for everyone else because you ran into a problem. I even read that people who take online classes are lazy and want to take the easy way out...first off this coursework is not easy and second there are REAL WORKING PROPLE WHO ACTUALLY HAVE JOBS AND FAMILIES TO FEED that cannot hack up their hours to attend traditional classrooms and this is the best thing for us WORKING people who want to BETTER tthemselves. All of my books arrived on time, they rec'd all of my payments and posted them to my account. And to anyone who doesn't beleive me...i'll be more than glad to take some pics of my ID badge, office, place of employment, scrubs, etc.... This school is the real deal and plan on taking Health Records Management in the future. Congratulations Ashwoth....good job!
