Hi! My name is Mary Grace i came from the land of Philippines province of Pangasinan. I am grateful and thank the Institution for helping me finish my chosen course and continue my career path. I would like to take this opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas through my Success Story in completing the Ashworth College Medical Office Assisting Course . When I came to Canada to work I knew that attaining / pursuing higher career goals must have to upgrade level of studies based on my career choice. And so my friend instructed me enroll in this institution and choose the course I wanted. I decided to choose medical office assisting because I want to work in a hospital or clinic where I can help people and nurse them. Going through my studies, I really appreciated and enjoyed the program, especially the study guides, book, and disk enrichments. Since my 1st lesson, I was upbeat and inspired when i got perfect score (100%) on the submitted grading lesson on the first chapter as Medical assistant. When I started my course as a Home Study Program, I had lots of spare time esp. on my day off and so I prefer to finish my lesson and make sure that I understood it personally and perceived the thoughts as much as I can.
I recommend everyone pursuing any course/goals must have to Set Vision and Encouragement always. I have learned that the most effective tool and ingredients in order to succeed is to encourage ourselves in achieving our future plans
If you choose to succeed and decide to prosper and to commit to focused goal. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
Encouragement comprises the 3 Nature's of Man that is CHOICE, CHANCE, CHANGE. For example, I chose this course because I believe in the near future where I can be an MOA in clinic or hospital. As John Von said, either we choose to survive or choose to succeed because everyone of us is unique and special. We have our own potential which we build our skills or the gift that has given by god. Inside us has untapped potential- if we have to discover it. That's why we have to build our own knowledge and wisdom to learn new things around us.
Second is Chance - There will always be a second chance. The old saying: Our greatest glory is not never falling but rising every time we fall. (Confucius) . Just create the habit of Achievement by improving at least 1% a day. All we need is 1%, until finally we're doing the impossible. We human beings have created among the highest form of living creatures because of our Intellectual Abilities. That is why we think the Best way in pursuing what we wanted in Life. When i got 80% on the next lesson, I said to myself that I have to strive more for next lessons coping in order to achieve the top level.
Third but not the least important is Change. Focus on the Solution not on the problem. What if something's wrong? Retrain our Brain. Great Minds Discuss Ideas. And that's how we prospect our Character / Values in a way how we going to study, strategies on how we fully understand the ideas on every chapter. Make some research too.
Change the habit of rushing and guessing the answers of every questions because it will lose the chance of getting what you should learn. Evaluate how far you've come and calculate the development of every chapters/ lessons. For me, I appreciate much the Vocabulary Builder, Learning Exercises and mostly the Opening / Inspiring Note of John E. Long, where he emphasizes encouragement strategies through summarization of the whole chapter. This denotes the importance of focused growth studying and sustaining full interest of every student.
Moreover, we must select the course that fits us. Does this course help me with my plans for the future? People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they're doing; therefore encouragement is the necessary part of supervision. It has to be supervised. When discouragement distracts us, shake it off, just shake it off.
Always bear in mind that resolution to succeed is more important that any one thing. Keep questions why?why?why? and eventually you look somehow enriched with wisdom as the foundation in continuing goals. We need advice and guidance through from our Instructors to lead us. Increasing our confidence and boosting our vision to seize the profitable opportunities in our path.
Believe in yourself. Plan before you do something. Always be positive. Dont forget to decide what you want in life.
Never give Up! They say, the only way of finding the limits of possible is by going beyond them. What's worse than having no sight is being able to see, but having no vision.
