What really pushed me into enrolling in Ashworth College's Online Personal Financial Planning program was the fact that my current employer did not offer a 401K plan. That meant I was pretty much on my own if I wanted to plan and secure my family’s financial future. So I decided to “invest” in Ashworth’s online program. It was a great move. Not only did the program teach me how to properly invest in stocks and bonds, I also learned how to balance the family budget, plan for our taxes, and analyze all our insurance needs.
The instructor was great. Being a tax accountant at one of the big investment firms, he could easily relate to all things having to do with the current financial planning market. The courses were definitely challenging! But looking back, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I particularly liked the fact that I could learn at my own pace, fitting in my studies when it suited me. After receiving my diploma I had all the tools to help keep my family’s finances under control.
But my story doesn’t end there. Now many of my friends and family have asked me about their own financial planning matters. So I decided to learn even more about this semi-career of mine by enrolling in Ashworth College's Online Associate Degree Finance program. Who knows? Thanks to my new found passion and confidence, maybe I’ll make a total career out of it! I would highly recommend Ashworth College to anyone who wants to partially or fully take control of their own financial situation.
