Marine Colonel Relieved of Command for Shoplifting!

Posted by Rodney Butler on Feb 7, 2011 2:14:57 PM

According to jdnews.com, the Marine officer stole $65.68 worth of goods from Wal-mart in Jacksonville, NC. He is stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC.

Do you think being relieved of command was punishment enough? Do you think if he was a junior enlisted or a junior NCO his punishment would have been worse?

Wow, all this for two printer cartridges and a bottle of STP gas treatment. Could it be mental issues? What do you think?
